If a film or movie is not available on Kanopy you have a couple of options:
Check: Academic Video Online - Alexander Street, a ProQuest Company
The film you're looking for might be available for free because it is in the Public Domain. Check YouTube or other free streaming services to see if it is available.
You may also be able to find public domain videos on Internet Archive: https://archive.org/details/movies
